What is an organisation account
What an organisation account on SEN Evidence Vault offers, who it is designed for, and how it differs from individual advocate accounts.
After reading this article you can
- Understand what an organisation account is and who it is for
- Know how organisation accounts differ from individual advocate accounts
- Decide whether an organisation account is right for you
Organisation accounts are designed for teams of advocates operating as a formal body, a charity, community interest company, independent advocacy organisation, or similar. They allow multiple advocates to work under a shared organisational identity, with a central management layer and the ability to handle a larger caseload collectively.
Who organisation accounts are for
An organisation account is appropriate if you:
- Run or manage a SEND advocacy organisation with more than one advocate
- Want to present a unified brand to families (rather than multiple individual advocate profiles)
- Need to manage cases across a team, with the ability to assign and reassign families
- Want to use the support ticket system to manage incoming enquiries from families
How organisations differ from individual advocate accounts
Multiple team members: an organisation can have multiple advocate seats. Each team member has their own login and case access, managed centrally by the organisation admin.
Organisation profile: families see the organisation's profile in the directory, not individual advocates' profiles (though team members may also have individual profiles).
Centralised case management: the organisation admin can see all active cases across the team, reassign cases between team members, and monitor the overall caseload.
Support ticket system: families can submit support requests to the organisation as a whole, which are then assigned to individual advocates by the admin.
Shared standards
All advocates within an organisation account must meet the same accreditation standards as individual advocates. The organisation is accredited as a whole, and each advocate within it is individually verified.
