Billing and subscription
How to manage your SEN Evidence Vault subscription — viewing your plan, upgrading or downgrading, managing payment details, and accessing invoices.

Your subscription and billing are managed from Account Settings > Billing. Here you can see your current plan, manage payment, and download invoices.
Your current plan
The billing overview shows:
- Your current plan (Free, Premium, or an advocate/organisation plan)
- Your billing cycle (monthly or annual)
- Your next payment date
- Features included in your current plan
Upgrading to Premium
Upgrading from the Free plan to Premium gives you PDF exports, bundle sharing, full document analysis features, and other Premium-only functionality.
Go to Account Settings > Billing or select Upgrade from any Premium feature prompt
Either route takes you to the upgrade flow.
Select a billing cycle
Monthly or annual. Annual billing is charged at a discounted rate equivalent to approximately two months free.
Enter payment details
Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your card details are not stored on SENVault servers — they are held securely by Stripe.
Confirm
Your plan upgrades immediately and Premium features become available.
Downgrading or cancelling
You can downgrade from Premium to Free or cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings > Billing > Manage subscription.
When you downgrade:
- You retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period
- At the end of the period, Premium features are disabled
- Your data, documents, and records are retained in full — you do not lose access to your Vault content, only to Premium-only features
Cancellation follows the same process. You are not billed after cancellation, and your account remains active on the Free plan.
Payment details and invoices
From Account Settings > Billing, you can:
- Update your payment card
- Download PDF invoices for any past payments
- View your payment history
Note
If you are struggling to afford a Premium subscription due to the circumstances of your case, contact SENVault support. There is a limited hardship assistance programme for families in financial difficulty.
