After reading this article you can

  • Understand what demo mode shows and what it hides
  • Enable demo mode from your dashboard
  • Know how to exit demo mode when you are ready to use real data

Demo mode loads a realistic sample case, a child called Liam with multiple reports, a timeline, EHCP flags, and a draft bundle, so you can explore every feature of SEN Evidence Vault without uploading any real documents.

What demo mode shows

When demo mode is active, the app loads Liam's case on top of your own account. You can:

  • Browse the sample Vault and see how evidence is categorised
  • Run the document analysis on a sample document (uses one of your free analyses)
  • Explore EHCP flags and DLA extracts extracted from the sample reports
  • View the timeline with appointments and interactions pre-populated
  • Open the sample bundle and explore annotations and highlights
  • See how advocate access and case tracking work

Everything you do in demo mode is real, the document analysis runs on actual content, the bundle is a real bundle. The only difference is that the underlying evidence belongs to the sample case, not your child.

What demo mode does not show

Demo mode does not simulate the advocate hub, organisation management, or billing screens. Those require your own account configuration.

Enabling demo mode

From the dashboard, look for the Try demo button or go to Settings > Demo mode and toggle it on. The app will reload with Liam's case loaded.

Note

Demo mode uses your real document analysis credits if you analyse a sample document. If you are on the free plan and want to save your 3 analyses for real documents, skip the document analysis step during demo mode.

Exiting demo mode

Go to Settings > Demo mode and toggle it off. Your own data will be available as normal. Nothing from the demo is added to your Vault.

What to do next

  1. 1

Explore the Vault section of this guide

Now that you know how the app is laid out, read through the Vault guides to understand how to set up your own case.

  2. 2

    Upload your first real document

Go to Evidence and upload something, a report, a letter, an EHCP. That is the best way to see how SENVault and flag features work for your specific case.
