Understanding the free plan
What SEN Evidence Vault includes for free, where the limits are, and when you might need to upgrade.

SEN Evidence Vault has a meaningful free tier. You can get started, store documents, and use core features without paying anything.
What's included for free

What triggers an upgrade prompt
You will be asked to upgrade when you:
- Try to add a second child profile
- Upload a 6th evidence item
- Run a 4th document analysis
- Try to export a bundle as PDF
- Try to create a secure share link
These limits are designed to let you evaluate SENVault before committing, not to cut off access to critical features.
Premium: what it adds
Premium costs £7 per month and removes all limits. It also adds:
- PDF export: download your bundle as a formatted PDF to send to schools, LAs, or solicitors
- Secure share links: generate a time-limited, read-only link to your bundle without sending files directly
- Unlimited children: all your children's cases in one place
Tip
If you are approaching a tribunal, an annual review, or a DLA application deadline, Premium is worth considering for the PDF export and share link features alone.
Advocate plans
Advocate accounts have separate plans. The free advocate tier allows you to receive support requests and accept vault access from families. The solo plan (paid) removes case limits and provides additional case management tools. See the Advocates section for full details.

Upgrade when you are ready
Go to Settings > Billing to upgrade to Premium at any time. You can cancel at any time from the same page.
